This short collection gathers together some of the horror master's strangest stories -- tales of mutants, post-apocalyptic creatures that flee humanity to live in the wastelands and hug the shadows. Three of the stories are from long out of print collections not published in the United States, one first appeared in a small press magazine in the 1980s, and the last is appearing here for the first time.
